Use this form to request deletion of your Aero Ranger account and personal information associated with that account.
We verify every request before making changes. Once verified, we will confirm the scope of the request, explain any information that must be retained and advise the expected completion timeframe.
How it works
A controlled and transparent process
- Submit the request.Use the email address associated with your Aero Ranger account and identify the organisation you access through Aero Ranger.
- Verify your identity.We may contact you or your organisation to confirm that the request is authorised and relates to the correct account.
- Confirm the scope.We will identify the account information that can be deleted and any records that must remain under law, contract or the organisation's records policy.
- Complete and confirm.We will notify you when the request has been completed, or explain any lawful reason that prevents part of the request from being fulfilled.
What deletion covers
Your account is not the same as an operational record
Account deletion generally covers the login identity, profile details, account preferences and other personal information linked directly to your individual access.
Aero Ranger is also used by councils and other organisations to manage operational records. Case files, evidence, permits, inspections, notices, audit history and similar records may be controlled by your organisation rather than by you personally. Deleting your account does not automatically delete those records.
Where an operational record contains your personal information, we will assess the request with the relevant organisation and apply its legal, contractual and records-management obligations.
Retention and security
Information retained only where required
Some information may need to be retained where required by applicable law, a court or regulatory obligation, a contract, a security requirement, or an organisation's authorised records schedule. Limited copies may also remain in protected backups until they are replaced under the applicable backup-retention schedule.
Retained information remains subject to access controls and is not kept for unrelated use. Personal information that is no longer required is deleted or de-identified in line with applicable privacy obligations.
Before you submit: account deletion is irreversible. If you need a copy of personal information associated with your account, request access before asking us to delete it.
