Drivers must register their plate through PayMyPark, Touch n Go or a kiosk to avoid the risk of a fine.
The free-parking return still depends on a session record, which means parking staff may see disputes where a driver expected free parking but did not register.
The operational issue is how registration errors, excluded spaces, session checks and enforcement reviews are handled in practice.
