Valet movements need an explained record of what changed, who approved it and whether the customer's parking session or charge was affected.

Valet overrides should explain who authorized a movement, why it happened and whether the customer's session changes. Opening a gate and changing a bill are separate decisions, so a manual movement should not silently perform both.
The useful question is what the vehicle was doing. A guest collecting a car, a valet rearranging spaces and a temporary departure can cross the same camera view while requiring different treatment in the parking record.
Valet staff traditionally distinguished the customer's arrival from movements made on the property. Plate-based matching can blur that distinction when every sighting resembles an entry or exit.
An override needs to retain the movement's purpose as well as its authorization, so later reviewers can understand why an apparently ordinary crossing was treated differently.
Supervisors may need exceptions when rearranging vehicles or managing returns outside the normal sequence. A dedicated internal route or staffed movement procedure can reduce the need for repeated corrections.
A software gate button is not inherently necessary if the approved controller already offers a suitable supervised method for the site.
Map the original arrival, internal shuffle, temporary departure and final collection before amending a session. Decide which sightings affect the visit and which remain supporting observations. A car moved across the entry view to another internal area, for example, need not represent a new paid visit simply because the plate appeared again.
For an approved correction, retain the operator, reason and time, then compare the resulting ledger with the valet log. Test duplicate sightings and re-entry as part of that sequence. The shift handover should identify who restores ordinary operation and who follows up unresolved sessions, so a temporary arrangement does not become an unexplained standing practice.
Aero Ranger CORE Enforcement Overrides retains an authorized exception's reason and action history. This suits a valet movement that needs an explained review decision. Available configured actions and the way corrections reach the parking service still need verification.
The feature does not establish a valet billing engine or native remote gate control, and a recorded exception alone does not amend an external charge.
