A revenue-share offer needs more than a low upfront figure: define the receipts being shared, minimum payments and the terms for leaving.

Assess the whole commercial model: the revenue being shared, minimum commitments, reconciliation rights, dispute handling and exit terms. A small upfront payment describes when spending begins, rather than the total obligation over the life of the arrangement.
Where notices are involved, authorized case review and operational decisions must remain separate from the supplier's financial interest. The funding model does not establish authority to charge a visitor or progress a particular case.
With an owner-funded installation, the equipment purchase is separate from later operating receipts. Revenue sharing connects those stages by giving the supplier a defined share of future collections as part of the continuing commercial relationship.
The change is in financing and the allocation of risk. It leaves important questions about the underlying parking operation: what counts as collected revenue, who resolves disputed amounts and what happens when receipts fall below expectations.
Revenue sharing may be considered where upfront funding is constrained. A fixed-price purchase or subscription provides another basis for comparison. Use the same operating period and include infrastructure ownership and termination obligations in each version.
A quieter period is especially revealing if the contract includes a minimum payment. The share may fall with receipts while the minimum stays due, changing the exposure that an attractive headline percentage initially appears to describe.
For illustration, a hypothetical 8% share costs AUD 2,400 in a month with AUD 30,000 collected, and AUD 480 with AUD 6,000 collected. A minimum payment would change the second result. These figures describe neither an Aero Ranger offer nor expected future receipts.
Define whether the share applies to parking fees, reviewed notices, collected amounts or another base. Sharing unpaid invoices can create an obligation before cash arrives. Refunds, reversals, bad debts, audit rights and equipment ownership at termination all need explicit treatment in the proposal.
Aero Ranger publishes a platform subscription with separately scoped integrations. That public pricing does not substantiate a zero-down revenue-share offer, so any proposed funding arrangement needs to be assessed on its own written terms.
The useful starting point is the actual commercial proposal, read alongside the intended operating workflow. Keep the cost of the service distinct from the authority for individual decisions, including any decision about a notice.
