Multi-Site ALPR Licensing

A multi-site quote should show how locations, workloads and permissions are priced, including what changes when a property joins or leaves.

How should multi-site licensing be quoted?

Compare site-level and consolidated prices for the same functions, retention and workload. The proposal should explain user permissions, tenant boundaries, pooled capacity and the cost of adding or closing a location, with any volume discount set out in writing.

A shared reporting screen does not establish permission to see every property's records. The licensing discussion needs to describe both the commercial estate and the access boundaries for the people who will use it day to day.

Shared administration changed what a licence covers

Separate site systems tied local administration to each installation. Shared platforms made cross-site administration and consolidated purchasing possible, extending the licensing question beyond the number of devices connected to an individual property or lane.

Each location still has its own rules, authorised users and workload. A consolidated arrangement therefore needs to explain which sites and operators belong together, rather than treating the estate as one undifferentiated collection of vehicle records.

One organisation does not mean one access level

Shared licensing may suit an organisation operating several locations. Separate arrangements may remain appropriate for different legal operators or incompatible requirements. Choose the structure around those responsibilities and the records each team is authorised to use.

A local staff role and a manager authorised across several properties provide useful demonstration cases. Test those boundaries before centralising historical records, including whether the shared reporting view changes what either person can access in practice.

Apply a discount to a defined scope

Illustrative arithmetic, not an available offer: three site subscriptions at AUD 300 each total AUD 900 monthly. A hypothetical 15% reduction on that same base gives AUD 765. Connection charges, pooled case limits or a longer commitment would change the comparison.

Adding users is different from adding sites, legal operators or camera feeds. A written proposal should show site additions and removals, storage, case capacity, integration charges and renewal conditions, including whether a discount requires a minimum term or number of participating locations.

CORE's unlimited users have a particular meaning

CORE advertises unlimited users within its published platform offer, alongside defined included case capacity. That describes one part of the subscription scope; it does not establish a multi-site discount or the price of connecting every property in an estate.

The sites, permissions and integrations still need explicit scoping. Compare the offered administrative arrangement with the intended workload and access boundaries, keeping any negotiated volume terms visible in the written proposal and its renewal basis.
