How should hotel guest access follow check-in and checkout?

Guest parking should follow an explicitly approved entitlement, with defined dates, zones and vehicle conditions. Map the reservation, check-in, plate changes and checkout between the systems involved, and provide reception assistance when an update or connection is unavailable.

Booking a room does not automatically activate parking permission. Nor should a stay imply unrestricted re-entry: the property may set vehicle limits, assigned zones or different arrangements for someone arriving before the room is ready to occupy.

A reservation is not yet parking permission

Reception-issued tickets, passes and guest lists historically tied parking to a hotel stay. Registration-based workflows replace the credential while retaining the need to distinguish reservation, check-in and checkout.

Those stages can have different meanings for parking, so the accommodation record and the parking permission should not simply be treated as the same thing.

Reception-issued access may be sufficient

Linked stays are useful where guests need repeated visits during a defined period. A reception-issued permit or assisted access may be sufficient without an accommodation-system integration.

Unlimited re-entry is not inherently necessary; the choice should reflect the hotel's actual parking offer and the conditions communicated to guests when they obtain that entitlement.

Test an extended stay and a changed car

Define activation, the checkout boundary, allowed vehicles and the handling of a cancelled or changed reservation. Test early arrival, extended stays, replacement cars and late updates. Where an integration is proposed, identify the exchanged fields and the authoritative system for each change, while sharing only the guest information needed for the parking purpose.

A guest extending checkout by a day needs an approved parking extension, for example. A room change alone should not be assumed to update every device. Reception needs to see whether permission is pending or active, correct a plate through an authorised process and assist when synchronisation fails, with unresolved changes left visible for review.

Manage guest entitlement with CORE permits

Aero Ranger CORE permits connect holders, vehicles, categories, validity context and review history. They suit an entitlement reception needs to verify and amend. Stay boundaries, re-entry policy and any supported connection need checking in the actual configuration.

The public pages do not establish a native hotel-system integration, unlimited gate access or instant checkout revocation, so proposed automation needs validation against the agreed guest conditions.
