Plan the records handover as carefully as equipment removal, including export access, open sessions, permits and the treatment of retained data.

A supplier change needs a plan for records as well as equipment. Agree export formats, access dates, assistance fees, ownership, removal and reinstatement, with separate arrangements for transferring permits, resolving open sessions and handling retained data.
The end of a five-year contract can still leave live customer matters and useful audit history. Planning the handover before signing makes it possible to assess those obligations alongside the initial installation and recurring service.
Retiring standalone equipment once focused attention on physical removal and locally stored records. Shared software and connected cameras added licenses, interfaces and a data handover, extending the work beyond switching off the equipment or closing an account.
Some hardware may remain while sessions and permits move elsewhere. Conversely, a device that appears technically compatible may lack continued support or usable export rights, so physical reuse and a workable migration need separate assessment.
Full demolition is not always necessary. Supported equipment may be retained, or the transition may be staged around a handover period. Compare those options with replacement using the actual receiving workflow and the equipment's remaining support life.
A small trial export helps establish whether the receiving process can use the schema, images, timestamps and corrected sessions. That practical check belongs before the cutover date, alongside responsibility for reconciling open sessions and transferring permits.
Aero Ranger Schedule 4 permits self-service export during the term and for 30 days after termination or expiry while the platform remains available. Due amounts must be paid, except properly disputed amounts where the undisputed balance is paid. Suspended access also prevents export.
The supplier is not obliged to perform extraction or migration. Agree any assistance separately and document the required retention or deletion disposition after handover. The export window does not mean that every copy is deleted after 30 days; account access and retained records are different matters.
COREconnect separates supported camera interfaces from CORE's operational workflow, making equipment reuse something to assess against the proposed installation. That can frame the hardware discussion, while the contractual export conditions govern access to the records being handed over.
Read Schedule 4 alongside the Master Services Agreement and privacy policy when planning the transition. Camera compatibility and conditional self-service export do not establish a complete migration service or determine the deletion of retained records.
