Carlisle, Penrith, and A66 patrolled by Police ANPR vans

Last weekend, the Cumbria Police ANPR vans were spotted patrolling the country road network.

On Friday the ANPR units were patrolling Dalston, West Carlisle and the A6 between Penrith and Carlisle. On Saturday they were around Ulverston, Barrow in Furness and the A590 between Newby Bridge and Ulverston.

The Police planned to operate their Road Safety Camera Vans on the A685 between Tebay and Brough and the A66 between Stainmore and Penrith on the Sunday.
