Multi-Tenant Parking Portal Permissions

Tenant parking permissions should define who can change allocations, see vehicle records and approve exceptions across the property.

How are tenant permissions separated?

Tenant permissions need to define which records each organisation may view, change, validate and export. Separate logins are only the beginning. A demonstration should include attempted access to another tenant's records and changes to administrator responsibilities.

Central oversight also needs a boundary. A property manager may need to supervise allocations, while ordinary tenant administrators should not receive unnecessary visibility of neighbouring tenants' personal information or vehicle activity.

Delegation changes who can update the list

Tenant parking once depended on centrally maintained lists. Self-service delegates some of that work, but the property operator still needs an agreed boundary around each tenant's allocation. The responsibility does not disappear when a tenant gains an account.

Those boundaries have to extend through vehicle records, exports and administrative tools. A portal can appear separate on screen while its underlying permissions still need examination through the proposed tenant roles.

Self-service or a request for approval

Self-service can suit tenants who regularly change staff vehicles or manage allocations. Central administration may be enough for a small building with infrequent changes. If tenants only need to submit requests, delegated editing may add powers they do not need.

Before choosing either route, name the allocation unit. Ten registered plates, ten permits and ten vehicles present at once are different policies, even if the portal uses the same number beside each tenant.

What happens to the last entitlement?

Test two administrators allocating the last entitlement at the same time. Then follow a tenant transfer, a departing administrator and a suspended account. These examples reveal how permission changes and allocation limits behave when ordinary work overlaps.

Include attempted exports of another tenant's records. Keep property-manager oversight separate from routine tenant administration, with an identified approver for exceptions. The change history should explain who adjusted an allocation and what unit the revised limit represents.

Permit accounts and cap rules in Aero Ranger CORE

Aero Ranger CORE documents permit accounts and configurable permit cap rules. These are relevant to grouping entitlements and defining permitted allocations, giving a practical starting point for a tenant-management demonstration.

The proposed portal, tenant isolation, concurrent changes and quota interpretation still need confirmation. A permit cap description does not establish a live occupancy ceiling or unrestricted delegated administration.
